Dr. Micah Skeens Research Program |   | We are inviting applications for a funded  postdoctoral scholar to join Dr. Micah Skeens’ team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University. Our lab is devoted to investigating the psychosocial and biobehavioral outcomes of children facing cancer and undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplants. Our mission extends beyond research; we strive to develop innovative digital health interventions, with a specific focus on underrepresented and vulnerable populations. We are committed to addressing the unique needs of diverse communities, including those who speak different languages and reside in rural and Appalachian areas. |   | In this position, with guidance from Dr. Skeens, you will be responsible for leading an independent project that addresses our shared interests and aligns with your career goals. Overview
The Nahata Lab is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support our mission of providing efficient coordination of diverse behaviorally-focused clinical research, including behavioral intervention trials and observational research. The Clinical Research Coordinator II is responsible for managing all of the elements of a clinical study in order to meet all protocol obligations while following ICH/GCP guidelines; and departmental/institutional standard operating procedures. These elements include but are not limited to; start-up activities, launch activities, day to day management of a study, data coding, analysis, report generation, and study closure activities. The CRC II also trains and mentors other clinical research staff to ensure consistency in study management and coordination activities.

Overview
The successful candidate will work with the Crerand Lab within the Center for Biobehavioral Health. Dr. Canice Crerand’s research focuses on psychosocial and health outcomes in children, adolescents, and adults with congenital conditions including craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and palate, differences/disorders of sex development, and other conditions that may require plastic and/or reconstructive surgery.
