Overview
Practices in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and standards. NCH functions within the APRN practice guidelines agreed upon by the medical and patient care services departments; performs all patient management activities in conjunction with the collaborating physician in accordance with their Standard Care Arrangement (SCA). The Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with the Attending assesses, plans, implements, evaluates an appropriate plan of care including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, in accordance with APRN practice guidelines and in conjunction with the collaborating physician for patients within their specialty practice. This is a Part-time, .9 FTE, 36 hours a week, hourly/non-exempt, nights, 7pm to 7am, every other weekend, and benefits eligible position. New grads welcome to apply. This unit is General Medicine/Behavioral Health/Observation. | Minimum pay: $26.19 per hour |   | The Staff RN assists patients to move rapidly, uneventfully, safely, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. The Staff RN prescribes delegates, supervises and provides patient care, plans for education, collaborates on plan for discharge and provides for patient safety and quality. Demonstrates competencies defined (*) in the Staff RN responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years, and select adult patients.
