Overview
AYA Program Coordinator - TCA  |   | The AYA Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of a program which targets the AYA oncology patient population.  This includes outreach efforts, day to day operations, and to collaborate with the Director of Psychosocial Services. The AYA Program Coordinator manages pertinent expenses, budget items, data collection, and evaluations to accomplish program goals and objectives.  The AYA Program Coordinator serves as a liaison to various community organizations and corporations.  The AYA Coordinator acts as a liaison between physicians and healthcare teams and families with a focus on clinical operation, communication, support, and quality improvement initiatives for the AYA oncology patient population.  The AYA Program Coordinator will work to proactively identify, develop, and maintain these key internal and external relationships to ensure that proper processes and timely execution of AYA services are managed for families, children, caregivers, community, and healthcare professionals. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required, including presentation, group facilitation and instruction skills. AYA Coordinator will have demonstrated ability to work in a team- oriented environment.

Overview
Nurse Navigator Oncology (RN) | Shift:  Days, Monday-Friday | Status:  1.0 FTE, Exempt | Experience:  BSN Required; Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON) |   | Full-time benefits eligible | Pay starts at $34/hour. |   |   | This Nurse Navigator will work with neuro oncology patients to provide care from diagnosis through course of treatment and follow-up. This Nurse Navigator will see patients in clinic and inpatient settings as scheduled while also managing a patient caseload from an outpatient standpoint to assist in coordinating care, triage calls and manage other aspects of neuro-oncology care. The ideal candidate is CPHON certified, is highly motivated, works well with team members and is organized. |   | The Nurse Navigator also assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of resources to achieve efficient, high quality outcomes for each cancer patient including support for interdisciplinary and cross facility collaboration including, but not limited to tumor boards, conferences, multidisciplinary clinics, and referral communication. | The Nurse Navigator will serve as a liaison between the patient and family, primary care physician, internal and external care providers, specialists, referrers, support network members e.g. social workers, physical therapist, child life specialists, home care staff, psychologists, research staff and the healthcare community. |   | On the aggregate level, the Nurse Navigator will track performance of the program in line with NCH, division and facility goals, Children's Oncology Group, APHON, and NCCN practice standards, and identify opportunities to streamline care practice through development of new patient care tools utilizing evidenced based guidelines and resources. |

Overview
A postdoctoral position is available immediately for NIH funded projects at the Das Lab at the Battelle Center for Mathematical Medicine at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital (www.nationwidechildrens.org/research). |   | We are seeking outstanding candidates who are interested in applying computational/mathematical methods to solve cutting-edge problems in immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The fellows are expected to work closely with our experimental collaborators and analyze single cell mass cytometry (CyTOF) data, confocal imaging data, and develop data-driven and mechanistic models. |   | Highly motivated and career oriented applicants with expertise in statistical physics, inference methods, optimization techniques, topological data analysis, agent based models, field theoretic methods, and evolutionary dynamics are particularly encouraged to apply. No previous background in immunology is required however the fellow is expected to be interested in learning the relevant immunology and communicate with our collaborators. The fellow also is required to know to code in Python/R/C/C++. The positions are available initially for one year and can be potentially extended.
