Overview
 A full-time Clinical Research Coordinator is being recruited for a collaborative research team investigating the relationship between brain development and mental wellbeing in youth. The successful candidate will contribute multiple ongoing studies examining the neuroanatomical and functional substrates that contribute to cognitive, social and emotional functioning in both medical populations and healthy youth. Duties will involve direct work with research participants (recruitment, in-person data collection), including helping to execute study visits involving magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), neurocognitive assessment, data management, statistical analyses, and dissemination of research results. Data management will include scoring standardized assessments, medical record reviews, data entry and verification, and training in the processing of neuroimaging data. This position will involve close collaboration with the principal investigator, as well as other research staff and investigators at NCH and medical staff at NCH/The Ohio State University. Opportunities exist for mentorship and professional development for applicants who are interested in gaining experience that will prepare them to apply for advanced graduate programs, particularly in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, or neuroscience. In addition to mentorship provided by the lab principal investigator, lab members have the option to participate in the Center for Biobehavioral Health Post-Baccalaureate Program, which is dedicated to aiding staff in identifying and understanding career paths and managing the application process for various fields’ graduate programs. Applicants are encouraged to submit resumes with sufficient detail to demonstrate their academic record (i.e., college GPA) and relevant research or work experience. Cover letters are encouraged.

The Center for Injury Research and Policy, located in The Research Institute of Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a summer internship position in injury research. The person in this position will under the supervision of the principal investigator, Dr. Ginger Yang and will assist in sports injury research conducted by Dr. Yang?s research team. | Dr. Yang?s research is highly collaborative and includes collaborations with the researchers both inside and outside of The Ohio State University. | The Center for Injury Research and Policy is one of 11 CDC-funded Injury Control Research Centers and focuses on the prevention of injury among children and adolescents. Its faculty members are active in injury research and prevention at local to global levels. Center faculty members teach and mentor students at The Ohio State University and from across the nation. Its global injury research program includes ongoing projects with its affiliate faculty in low- and middle-income countries and a visiting scholars program. Through multiple partnerships, the Center has established collaborative networks of injury professionals regionally, nationally and globally. A translational research team helps faculty members disseminate their research findings.

Overview
The Bedrosian lab in the Institute for Genomic Medicine is seeking a post-doctoral scientist to join our team. Our translational research group focuses on studying the genetics of epilepsy and other neurodevelopmental diseases using patient-derived tissue as well as murine models. We use cutting-edge techniques including single cell RNA-sequencing, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics, and other genomic techniques. The successful candidate will be engaged in projects exploring the molecular etiology of epilepsies through bioinformatic analysis of single-cell sequencing data and other genomic data. Prior experience with R and Seurat is preferred. The Institute for Genomic Medicine provides a stellar training environment with exposure to world-class expertise in genomics. We are a collaborative group with opportunities to build new skillsets and interact across the institute. Post-doctoral scientist will report to PI.
