Collaborates with clinical leadership to develop, implement, and coordinate effective systems that improve patient outcomes and quality of care supporting the eight Pediatric Vital Signs (PVS) throughout the 47-county service area. Provides leadership in the areas of quality improvement and supports the mission by leading the performance improvements linked to the strategic plan.

Education Requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experience, required.
• Master’s Degree in engineering, healthcare, or business field, preferred
Licensure:
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of auto insurance required.
Certifications
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred.
Skills
• Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams using the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and/or IHI Quality Toolbox.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and emotional intelligence skills for facilitation of meetings, presentations, relationship building, and effective communication to all levels of hospital staff and community partners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools, like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Expertise in manipulating and analyzing large data sets using pivot tables, formulas, and graphs/charts. Proficient in making data tell a compelling story to drive practice changes.
• Highly proficient in statistical process control techniques, including QI Macros or other software to create and interpret control charts.
• Strong critical thinking skills for developing innovative solutions to healthcare challenges and prioritizing work tasks.
Experience
• 5 years of experience in the quality improvement and/or process improvement fields, or project management preferred.
