Pharmacy Intern - Outpatient/Ambulatory Pharmacy
The Outpatient/Ambulatory Pharmacy Intern position exists to allow for the growth, development, and education of students enrolled in a college of pharmacy. The interns further the mission of the pharmacy department by caring for patients, while enhancing their educational experience, and developing good customer service skills. Demonstrates competency in providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years, and select adult patients.
**This position is for The Ohio State University - College of Pharmacy students only**
Schedule: (Contingent, Non-Benefits Eligible)
- Hours during school year: Average 12 hours/week; 5-6 hour shifts during weekdays in the evenings. Each intern is expected to staff 1 weekend shift (8 hours) every 3 weekends.
- Summer hours: Opportunity to work a larger amount during the summertime with summer projects, shadowing opportunities, and clinical rotations
- Options for part-time with benefits available
- Interns will start training during fall and winter
