The Center for Family Safety and Healing (TCFSH)- Adult Advocate provides advocacy, support, and case management to adults who have experienced interpersonal family violence with a particular emphasis on domestic violence, including elder abuse. The advocate works in the home and community setting as appropriate to respond to victims of interpersonal violence, and participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to care. The advocate must possess sound knowledge of family violence and related systems that influence effective interventions to assure safety, referral for needed services, and coordination of care including law enforcement, prosecution, and physical and behavioral health services.
