The Rehabilitation Athletic Trainer is primarily responsible for the evaluation and therapeutic treatment of patients referred to Functional Rehabilitation and its specialty programs, including but not limited to Adaptive Rehab, Concussion Rehab, Functional Rehab, Performing Arts, and Play Strong. All care will be provided in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safe patient care. They will document all patient interactions & treatments and bill according to the highest professional standards and laws. They will develop professional relationships with their patients and families to become a valued member of their health care team, deliver a high level of customer service, and continually look for ways to improve the quality of their clinical and rehabilitative services. Knowledge of age appropriate care, scientifically based and medically established best practices for pediatric and adolescent sports medicine and active populations is the standard required for quality service delivery.
