Overview

This position is full-time working 40 hours a week, weekdays, day shift with working evenings and weekends (as needed for conferences and events). Position is exempt and salaried role with full-time benefits

 

We are looking for candidates with the following requirements:

  • Master's Degree or higher education in any field
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Press Graney experience a plus
  • Leadership experience
  • Leading Patient/Customer exeperience a plus
  • Must have an Valid Ohio driver's license with proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy.

 

Provides oversight and strategic leadership that enhances and creates excellent experiences for patients and families.

Responsibilities

Develops, leads, and manages initiatives designed to evaluate and improve the patient and family experience. Leads a multidisciplinary team to determine areas of need and strength and establish goals and strategies. Develops and implements staff training for areas of responsibility. Develops and manages benchmarks and measures key indicators of the patient and family experience. Supports the development, implementation, and coordination of programs and services that promote positive experiences. Leads project management and programmatic initiatives. Oversees the operation and maintenance of the patient and family experience services. Collaborates and consults with medical, operational, and customer teams at all levels, to ensure positive patient and family experience. Develops and monitors budgets for areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

MBA, MBOE, Master's Health Science Administration, Masters in Nursing, or evidence of equivalent advanced course work in healthcare administration, required.

Licensure Requirement: Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy.

Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

 

Skills: 

Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other hospital department personnel. Analytical ability necessary to develop sound policies, procedures, and budgets for assigned units. Keeps abreast of developments and trends in areas of responsibility.
