The Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Coordinator Team Lead (EM Team Lead) has two primary responsibilities: 1) supervising the Emergency Medicine (EM) Research Team (consists of research assistants, coordinators, and interns) and 2) performing as a role model Research Coordinator. The EM Research Team is responsible for the implementation of all active research studies including, but not limited to: studies conducted in the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network, other federally funded projects, industry studies, internally funded and unfunded studies. The EM Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of EM Research personnel, study training, and ensuring all research is conducted according to federal, state, local and institutional guidelines, and regulations. The EM Team Lead will collaborate closely with the EM Associate Division Chief of Research, EM Research Director, EM Program Manager/ Great Lakes-Atlantic Emergency Children’s Research Nodal Administrator, Study PIs and other EM Research Team Leads.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Master’s degree preferredExperience: managing a team
Some evening and weekend hours required
Experience managing multiple federally funded grant projects
Experience managing a team of individual contributors
Knowledge and experience in grant and study management preferredExcellent skills in writing, communications, and presentation graphics knowledge required
Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with medical staff, consultants, external professionals, administrators, and employees at all levels.
Significant contact with medical staff, outside vendors and community representatives
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
