Overview

The Pediatric Endocrinologist will be responsible to treat growth related and manage hormone disorders in children, adolescent and young adult patients.

Responsibilities

The physician will participate with other members of the division in the care of inpatient and outpatients.  The physician will share night, weekend, and holiday call with other members of the division and be on-service. The physician’s clinical expectations will be commensurate with the physician’s FTE status.

 

The Physician will be expected to actively participate in providing lectures, clinical teaching, and developing curricula for the pediatric housestaff and medical students, as well as other allied health care professionals. The Physician may also be asked to provide education and training to health care professionals at other institutions.

 

As a physician in the Pediatric Academic Association, you may be assigned administrative and leadership duties in your Division, in the Department of Pediatrics, in the Pediatric Academic Association, in the College of Medicine, at The Ohio State University, or at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree
  • State of Ohio Medical License
  • Board Certifications in Pediatrics and Endocrinology
