Digital Communication Strategist - TCFSH


The Digital Communications Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating social media and other digital communication efforts for The Center for Family Safety and Healing (TCFSH). In addition, the Digital Communications Strategist creates original content, including blogs, and engages multiple audiences through various social media channels.

  • Develops strategies to grow TCFSH’s presence and reach across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels.
  • Manages content calendars for social media and other appropriate digital channels.
  • Identifies trends, relevant news, and other opportunities in the social media space, helping to increase TCFSH’s brand awareness and voice.
  • Keeps current with emerging digital media behavior, trends, and technologies.
  • Collaborates to develop and implement content for TCFSH public education campaigns (e.g. Where’s The Line), including digital tool kits for target audiences.
  • Supports activities for annual awareness months and other related events.
  • Create and edit original content for internal and external audiences, various publications, and media outlets.
  • Manages internal digital board content.
  • Conducts quarterly website review.
  • Develop, update and track blogs associated with TCSFH and public education campaigns.
  • Works collaboratively to understand and respond to analytics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of content across all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with NCH marketing
  • Monitors and responds to social media comments, questions, and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Maintains an environment of safety for clients, self, and others and supports patient safety initiatives.
  • Completes appropriate reports and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Journalism or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of one to three years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social and digital media, including Facebook Ads manager.
  • Experience writing and producing digital and print content for a range of target audiences.
  • Ability to accurately document information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Excellent computer skills for maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other related uses.
