Laboratory Manager for the Immune Surveillance Laboratory at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This is a high-throughput translational human immunology laboratory that conducts and coordinates single- and multi-center studies of immune function in critically ill children. The Laboratory Manager will be expected to coordinate laboratory activities, perform experiments (including the use of cell culture, flow cytometry, and protein quantitation), manage laboratory safety programs, and perform the manufacture and quality control of immune testing kits for use in multi-center studies. The Laboratory Manager will also prepare research reports; assist in the preparation of scientific publications and research grant proposals; and prepare budget proposals for conducting research studies.

1. Master of Science degree with one to two years of laboratory research experience or Bachelor of Science degree with two to three years of laboratory research experience.
2. Must be able to use research methods in generating and collecting data and analyzing the data for report preparation.
3. Must be able to develop complex position papers and reports, and help in preparation of research grant proposals and scientific publications.
4. Must be computer literate.
