We are seeking a Post Doctoral Scientist in Regenerative Medicine
A postdoctoral position is immediately available within the Center for Regenerative Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital working with Dr. Mitchel Stacy. The Stacy lab is focused on the development and application of translational multimodality imaging techniques for evaluating peripheral arterial disease and regenerative medicine constructs. Of particular interest is quantitative imaging of vascular remodeling, perfusion, and inflammation.
The lab employs innovative pre-clinical models and utilizes various imaging modalities, which include SPECT/CT, PET/CT, CT angiography, ultrasound, and MRI. Experimental work and training will be focused on pre-clinical and clinical imaging, evaluation of tissue engineered constructs, diabetes, pre-clinical models of limb ischemia, and image processing techniques. Involvement in our ongoing clinical trial (NCT03622359) is also encouraged.
Pre-clinical and clinical imaging research will be completed through collaborative efforts with The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated with an interest in pre-clinical and/or clinical cardiovascular imaging. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the position will involve participation in manuscript and grant preparation.
Interested individuals should send a letter of interest and recent copy of CV to Dr. Stacy at email@example.com
