    We are seeking a Director of Regional Wellness  -   with the work concentrated in the SE region of Ohio.  This role serves as a liaison to communities and partner institutions, leading, coordinated grant application efforts and connecting providers to wellness partners in the region. The Director will represent NCH in regional opportunities and identify and coordinate the participation of appropriate NCH departments and services in strategic regional initiatives.  Work will revolve around problems such as the opioid crisis and infant mortality.

    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Lead in developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s strategic initiatives in the Appalachian (SE) region of Ohio
    • Serves as the NCH representative to governmental, non-profit and corporate wellness partners in the southeast region
    • Serve as liaison between faculty in programs and hospital departments with Ohio University colleges of Medicine and Public Affairs
    • Developing business plans and success metrics for regional wellness programs
    • Supports grant application for federal, state and private funding initiatives.


    What Are We Looking For?


    To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess these minimum qualifications and experience:


    • Master’s degree in business, health administration or related fields or equivalent degree/experience required
    • Experience in program planning and administration
    • Previous experience working in southeast Ohio (desired)
    • Experience in writing grants and managing budgets
    • Experience with building political relationships on the federal, state, and or local level
